CCA Autumn 2026 Campaign Grants

The Conservative Councillors' Association is launching its Autumn 2026 Campaign Grants to support Associations and Federations with innovative, effective and creative local campaigning.

Programme Structure:
This programme is delivered in four rounds throughout the year, with a total budget of £40,000. This application is for the Autumn 2026 round.

The four rounds for the 2026/27 programme are:
1) Autumn 2026 (Oct–Nov 2026)
2) Winter 2026/27 (Dec 2026–Jan 2027)
3) Early Spring 2027 (Feb–Mar 2027)
4) Post-Election 2027 (Summer 2027)

Please note: All funding for the first three rounds must be allocated and spent by March 2027 to comply with local election spending limits ahead of the May 2027 elections.

We are particularly interested in ideas that demonstrate smart campaigning rather than simply additional spending. We want to support Associations making effective use of targeting, 0-10 canvassing, local issue surveys, voter research, digital campaigning and other evidence-led approaches.

Eligibility & Guidelines:
- One application per Association/Federation per round.
- Applications must focus on innovative campaigning rather than routine literature.
- All councillors involved must be CCA members.
- Endorsement required: Sign-off from your Association Chair or Federation leader is mandatory.
- Priority: We are prioritising applications supporting the 2027 Local Elections.

Grants of up to £500 are available. You may apply for less.

What is the campaigning challenge or opportunity you have identified? Please briefly explain the problem you are trying to solve or the opportunity you want to take advantage of.

What is your idea? Tell us what you want to do and why you think it is a good idea.

What makes this different or innovative? We want to hear about creative ideas, new approaches and campaigning techniques that you have not previously tried.

How will you use targeting, canvassing, local research or other evidence to inform the campaign?

How much are you requesting? (Limit: £500)

What will the money be spent on? (e.g. surveys for blocks of flats, social media ads, low-cost leaflets)
Please provide a simple breakdown of your proposed expenditure. Smaller requests (e.g. £75 or £125) are very welcome.

Why does this amount represent good value for money?

What do you expect the campaign to achieve? Please explain what success would look like and, where possible, how you will measure it.

Could this idea be repeated or used by other Associations? If successful, we would like to share useful ideas and examples of effective campaigning across the CCA network.
